Albert Rivas completed his master’s and bachelor's degree from the University of California Davis. He attended Stanford University where he received his certification in local governance and leadership. Albert Rivers has worked in local government since 2000. His background includes managing teams in the public and private sector, and he worked his way up through ranks to serve on executive teams in local government. Appointed by California Governor Jerry Brown to service as Chief, as well as lead the department of External Affairs and public relations mission. He is passionate about serving nonprofits and local communities. His background included successfully managing multi-million-dollar grants and programs while also overseeing and cultivating networks, managing national, statewide or regional projects, developing and implementing public education programs for the youth and people living with disabilities
Partnership Amy Ashton partnership with Albert Rivas includes using her services for the mentorship for youth at risk, for the SAR Program and she is their Official Comedian chosen to perform for schools and large youth groups throughout LA County. Granted with the opportunity of serving and making a difference in the community has been one of Amy's most rewarding experiences. They met when Amy Ashton performed Comedy and kicked off The Women Leaders Working In Corrections & Juvenile Justice and Correction Officers National Convention for the event along with famed Speaker/Actress with Academy Award winner and Activist Genna Davis in Sacramento.
